Norfolk MPs Vote Not to Take Control
Last night in Parliament MPs voted on the Oliver Letwin amendment to hold indicative votes on the way forward. George Freeman, MP for Mid Norfolk, was the only rebel, voting with Norman Lamb and Clive Lewis for the amendment. Keith Simpson, Brandon Lewis, Henry Bellingham, Chloe Smith, Richard Bacon and Elizabeth Truss all voted with the government.
The amendment was carried and MPs will try to reach a conclusion where Mrs May has lamentably failed.
